On 8-10 October 2025 Maastricht UMC+ will host the third ESHG Next-Generation Reproductive Medicine course in Maastricht. This advanced course includes three days of lectures, interspersed with interactive elements.
The general goal of this campus course is to illuminate the importance of new technologies for enhancing current reproductive healthcare.
Specific aims include:
- the state-of-the-art technologies for preconception, preimplantation, prenatal and neonatal care;
- innovative approaches that will be translated into the clinic in the near future;
- interactive discussions on the responsible implementation of new technologies, including ethical, legal and societal implications (ELSI).
This course is intended for specialists involved in reproductive medicine, like clinical embryologists. The design is aimed at (highly) skilled and educated professionals (i.e. master level and higher) and specialists (in training). Attendees should have a general interest in providing a better reproductive care through the development and implementation of new knowledge and innovative technologies.
